COVID-19 Statement

We hope that all of you and those close to you are well both mentally and physically during these trying times. This has been one of the more interesting, to say the least, times for us here at Vanguard, and hopefully, things with the US economy will start to straighten out in the coming months.

As of Friday, March 20th, Connecticut ordered all non-essential employees to stay home. We have been designated as a critical manufacturer because of our work in manufacturing components for critical medical devices and defense related items. As a result, we have been unaffected by the local, state, and federal government closures, and maintain our manufacturing.

At this time, our factory has been unaffected by illness, though we remain vigilant in our efforts to combat spread should it occur. Our factory has been reconfigured to allow for maximum distance between workers, it has been disinfected, the workers have been provided personal disinfection tools (ie. wipes, facemasks, gloves, sanitizer), and we have stepped up the daily cleaning procedures internally. At this point, we have not been presented with any major delays in raw materials supplies, and we continue to maintain significant buffer inventories of materials.

Please stay well and healthy. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are looking forward to working with you during this time and beyond.
